I’ll teach you how to sew your own custom shapewear for a sleek, smooth appearance under any garment. In my class you’ll discover key concepts for sewing shapewear in a variety of popular styles using a single pattern. Plus when you learn with Craftsy, you can work at your own pace and ask me questions along the way.  |  | We’ll get started by reviewing the pattern included in your materials, and all of the variations you can make for a complete shapewear wardrobe. Then I’ll help you choose the right fabrics and size for your pattern, explaining how to easily alter it for larger sizes.
Next, follow along as I share layout, cutting and marking tips. Then we’ll start sewing the full-body shaper, beginning with the lace or fabric cami section, using curved darts, and set it into the shaper front. Continue constructing the shaper as you create an optional opening via the center-back seam. Afterwards, we’ll sew up the inseam and side seams, and finish the hems and edges.
